About our Painting Classes

Core Skills

Join us to explore the fundamentals of painting, understanding what creates a strong composition and how to play with light and shadow. Learn about value, tone, tint, and shade, and discover how to use them to greater effect.

Materials

We'll guide you through paints, brushes, and materials, while explaining the basics of colour theory. You’ll gain confidence in creating a balanced palette, enabling you to make deliberate colour choices when you paint.

Relax and create

When you arrive, you’ll find your space set up and ready to paint. We’ve a relaxing playlist, tea and biscuits, to help the creative juices flow! Our lessons are designed with flexibility in mind. Unlike structured courses with distinct topics each week, our approach allows you to join at any time and you’ll receive tutoring tailored to your pace and needs.

All Levels Welcome

Whether you're a beginner or refining your skills, our classes cater to everyone. Bring your own materials or let us provide everything you need for a hassle-free experience.

Dates and times:

Tuesdays 2 - 4pm

Thursdays 10 - 12pm

Friday morning 10 - 12pm

Friday afternoon 12.30 - 2.30pm

Fees: £25 per session or £30 with materials paid as a block of 6
