A playful class making jewellery in wood with silver findings.  We will use sustainably-aware indigenous woods, offcuts from musical instrument making and found items to transform with a variety of decorative techniques to make completed pieces of jewellery. You will use a range of surface techniques such silver inlay dots, painting and ebonising and then learn how to construct  finished jewellery  using cold connections such as laminating, riveting and pegging .   We will look at some the amazingly varied work that International studio jewellers make from wood and information on sourcing materials will also be available.  No previous experience necessary.
