About the workshop

In this 2.5hr evening class Emma shares with us how to cut a paper stencil and then screen print it onto a white tea towel that could be used as a tea towel or a festive table runner. A great introduction to textile printing and the joys of making something useful for the home.

Emma studied textile design at Edinburgh college of Art and has since found this simple and rewarding technique the backbone of her work to make designs that can be reproduced on textiles or as art prints.

Emma will provide all the materials. We will work with red ink to make a beautiful contrasting festive design.
