Workshops for Adults Terms of Booking
Workshops are the provision of services coordinated and facilitated by an artist on behalf of
ArtStart Art Club. Workshops are artist specific and will vary in nature from artist to artist.
The description of the workshop is found on the website and is the product that the customer
agrees to receive upon booking that workshop.
It is the artists responsibility to ensure that all materials provided are fit for purpose
and suitable for the participants and workshop itself. Any electrical devices that are brought by the artist
and used by the artist are done so at the artist's own risk. Any damages or accidents that occur during a
workshop that are the fault of any of the equipment or materials provided by the artist are the responsibility
and liability of the artist. Any materials supplied by the customer are the responsibility of the customer and
should any accidents or damages occur the customer accepts liability for their own materials.
By the customer - ArtStart Workshops offer a full refund if cancelled 30 days prior. We offer a 75% refund if a cancellation is received 14 days prior
to the workshop date, as materials will have been purchased. If a cancellation is received 0 - 14days prior no refund will be given.
By the artist - In the event of an artist cancelling a workshop, ArtStart will source another artist (if possible) to take the place of the previous artist
and notify the customer. If no replacement can be offered then a full refund will be given to the customer.
Full payment is required to confirm the booking of a workshop. This is payable to Kirsten Norbury by means of bank transfer, online payment or cheque.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has cleared.
ArtStart reserves the right to use images and film made during the workshops for marketing and promotion.
Complaints and feedback
To ensure that we offer the best possible service, we ask our customers to give feedback from the workshop and the artist.
Feedback will be passed onto the artist so they are able to better improve the workshops and services they provide.
Complaints regarding any of our artists or services will be handled through ArtStart via Kirsten Norbury.
