Deborah Manson - Textile Designer

Biography

​

Deborah studied Illustration at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and went on to work as a designer. In 2004 she qualified as a teacher and taught graphic communication for ten years.

​

In 2016 she gained an MA in Textiles from Chelsea College of Art.

She works from her studio in Sussex where she makes textiles, collages, prints and drawings. Whether working with paper or textiles she enjoys the interplay of colour, shape and the spaces in-between.

 

Her work reflects her interest in the cross over between art, craft and design. She teaches courses and workshops in Sussex and beyond.
