These classes are a great introduction to the basics of painting - perfect for beginners and those wanting to take their skills to the next level.

 

If you’ve always wanted to try painting but felt intimidated or not known where to begin, or perhaps haven’t done any art since school, then we will help you get back into painting. Your tutor - figurative painter Kirsten Norbury, BA hons will help you achieve your goals. Advising you on what paints to use, where to buy materials and what materials to buy. She’ll advise you on composition and subject choice, perspective and how its achieved, colour and value.

 

Some electronic devices are available to use in the studio, but if you have a tablet do bring it along. We have easels, palette's, just bring along your paints, brushes and canvas.  Tea, coffee biscuits and a warm welcome are guaranteed!
